Video Games
The Video Game industry has a significant negative stigma, making you violent, making you seem nerdy, still a virgin and lonely. Video games directly interfere with the audiences more than any other media industry.
Video Games were established in 1970, space-war is considered to be the first video game. Japanese Arcade Boom was court on by the USA who made consoles such as Atari 26, the industry collapsed in 1982, it was saved by Nintendo (1984) - Super Mario (1985) and then, in 1986, Zelda and Final Fantasy came out. Sony with their product, PlayStation was advertised to adults, clubs and bars was where it was advertised as being strange and not something to buy in these places to appeal more towards adults than to children. As the industry became bigger and more expensive, more people were being exploited to produce the games, these types of high quality games are known as AAA Games.

The Video Game Industry is EXTREMELY SPECIALISED
Assassins Creed III - Liberation
Published by UBISOFT (french) in 2012, it was originally mad just fo a hand held console (playStation Vita), however it was re-released for the X-Box 360 and PS3, it was also then re-released as a pack bundle called 'Assassins Creed III' for both PS4 and XBoxOne. The Playstation Vita was not popular in the west, only really in Japan.
The themes of Slavery could be seen as of poor taste and inappropriate. A dramatic and emotional narrative, this appears to a general audience. The fact that there is a female, black protagonist, which is rare of the Assassins Creed games (as well as other games). Having a black main character means it could also appeal to a black audience. The use of hard cuts to black screen makes it look like a film. There is no game play in the trailer. The Promise of new content compared to the content on the Vita. The trailer demonstrates high production value and that it is not rushed.
Gameplay - The Interactive parts of a game/parts you can play
Cut Scene - Scenes of the plot, cinematic's Metal Gear Solid 4 has a two hour cut scene
This game is both a Spin-off and a Sequel
The Game is Developed by 3 different companies Ubisoft Montreal, Sophia and Milan - Transnational Product.

The preferred (The Audience Agrees with the producer Ideologies) reading of Assassins Creed III Liberation is that you get to be able to re-rite virtual history. The Scene we watched would be to stop it with a fight and fight against the higher power to prevail for the greater good.
The Oppositional Reading (Opposite of the Producer's Ideologies) is that you fight you way out of situations with extreme violence, instead of trying to peacefully prevent any deaths
The Negotiated Reading (Pick and Choose the readings) could be that it is wrong, but the fastest and most fun choice to make in the game. The Ludonarrative Dissonance
Dark Souls III is an example of Environmental Story Telling
