Research - Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (also known as Detective Pikachu) is an upcoming action-adventure family film directed by Rob Letterman and written by Nicole Perlman and Letterman, based on the 2016 video game of the same name. The film is an American–Japanese joint venture produced by Legendary Pictures and The Pokémon Company.  It is the first live-action film based on the Pokémon franchise. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Detective Pikachu, with Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe in live-action roles.  Produced by Legendary and Toho (pokémon, a century old).  The Director did Goosebumps and Sharks tale which both Pikachu and Goosebumps are childhood films Rob Letterman.  For Ryan reynolds to voice Pikachu as well as him doing Deadpool, it will get the Deadpool's fans over.

Cinematography - The Camera on Pikachu is a high angle to a emphasise how cute he appears and also how he comes across all innocent and cherpy with literally having a sting in his tale.  The high angle of the man shows him as being superior and in control however he is not when he obeys pikachu by dropping the stapler.  The music also stops when the stapler drops to add the hermienutic code of enigma as to what will happen next as he has obeyed the animal.  Shot Reverse Shot is used dring the dialogue to not only show the size difference of the two but to also add a fast paced and exciting atmosphere






The Mise en Scene of this shot resembles Blade Runner and other gritty and crime inbeded into the city.  The fact neon lights with dark skies and smokey areas add a polluted and bustling and a lck of greenary establishes a futureistic setting. 





Related imageWhat I think the target audience actually is.  Lives in his mums house but renivated the basement to his man cave.  Plays dungeons and dragons and only drinks monster with cool original Doritos.  Vapes.  Sweats watching sport.  Claims he has a Pokemon and loves anime.  So excited for this Pikachu film he screamed like a little girl.

The Tide Advert

The hand drawn Mes en Scene instantly shows how dated this advert is.  The target audience is women aged from 30+, housewives.  The tagline is a very stereotypical and represents women as only wanting good washing powder and assumes that they are not allowed to have any other wants except Tide, it comes across demanding and persuasive as if Tide has not got what you want you're not a 'real' woman.  The sans serif font looks to be created by hand and the red has connotations of love and a love for Tide washing product.  The way the women is looking up, looking smitten and percing her lip as if ready to kiss to the box which is a proairtic code, also shows her absolute devotion to the washing powder.
