The film was marketed in a global perspective

No big actors only big name was the director on the poster

15 rating as it is political and has a strong political message and may not be fully understood by those who are younger

The trailer shows real life problems and throws you right in the deep end and des not start happy and clappy and show the disruption it starts with the disruption.  The opening of the trailer shows medical checks allowing sympathy and emotions to be felt towards the characters and establish the underdog characteristic from the start.

Genre that focuses on the grittyness of life such as drugs mental health benefits sex and violence - social realism however this film was a 15 because of the violence

Left Wing is liberal and Right is traditional and conservative

5/5 review by the guardian as it is a left wing newspaper.  THE FILM IS LEFT WING AND TORY

British Drama, 59 man can not work due to having heat problems and he meets young mum during the struggle of the benefit system.

53% of google users rated it good which is a lot lower than the other reviews.  People reacted differently depending on their background and life.  Loach said it was a savage eye opening to the corrupt benefit system

Benefits are presented negatively and almost been glamourised by the TV shows with characters on Benefits.  Jeremy Corbyn loved the film and even requested Theresa May to watch it to understand the benefit system and the welfare state

The film was funded by The British Film Institute is a film and charitable organisation which promotes and preserves filmmaking and television in the UK. 'Why Not' Productions is a public French film production company founded by producers in 1990. It also co-producers films from other countries with I Daniel Blake as one of these examples.

The two names are the two famous directors and the award it won, v prestigious, the graffiti shows an anarchist and extreme cry for help and the man is shown as being proud and sticking it to the man, yet his black shadow could be his emotions and his dark side lurking behind hi or could even be the benefit system

The French Poster seems more elegant and warm where as the red pen, resembels danger and also seems to be written by hand to give it a personal and firs hand approach
